
HVS0801 – High Voltage Switch
The HVS0801 is reliable, robust, Euro-card sized high voltage switch card including 8 SPST relays (Single Pole Single Throw), which offer a switching capacity of at most 1000V AC/DC. The card is especially suitable for installation inside 19” racks with a minimum height of 3HU.
The HVS0801 is controlled via NI DIO card or HNI bus (High Noise Immunity), to which is it connected using an IEC 60 603-13 connector (Harting 09 18 540 6903).
The card provides very low current consumption: If all relays are turned off, it only consumes 10mA. If all relays are activated, the current consumption is at most 150mA.
The card provides low switching times of only 1ms including bounce time. Each relay’s endurance allows for 500 x 106 switching cycles. Their switching capacity is 100V DC/AC, 1A (2.5 A loaded) or rather 100W.
The HVS0801 is especially suitable for integration into the NOFFZ SDR (Signal Distribution Rack).
