PRS0805 Power Relay Switch
The PRS0805 is a Euro-card sized power relay switch comprising 8 integrated SPST relays (Single Pole Single Throw) for switching medium currents (5A max). The robust and reliable card can be integrated into 19” racks, offering a minimum height of 3HU, and has been designed for special use inside signal distribution systems such as the NOFFZ SDR (Signal Distribution Rack).
The PRS0805 shows a very low current consumption: If all relays are turned off, it only consumes 10mA. If all relays are activated, the current consumption is at most 180mA.
The PRS0805 is controlled via NI DIO card or HNI bus (High Noise Immunity), to which is it connected by an IEC 60 603-13 connector (Harting 09 18 540 6903).
The card provides low switching times of only 10ms including bounce time. Each relay’s mechanical endurance allows for 30 x 106 switching cycles. Their electrical endurance offers 7 x 105 switching cycles at a load of 5A. Their switching capacity is 300V DC/AC or rather 5A per relays.
