SRS1601 Signal Relay Switch

The SRS1601 is a robust Euro-card sized signal relay switching card offering 16 integrated DPDT signal relays (Double Pole Double Throw) for switching and distribution of test signals. It can be integrated into 19” racks with a minimum height of 3HU and is controlled via NI DIO card or HNI bus (High Noise Immunity), to which is it connected using an IEC 60 603-13 connector (Harting 09 18 540 6903).

The card shows very low current consumption: If all relays are turned off, it only consumes 10mA. If all relays are activated, the current consumption is at most 410mA

Each relay’s mechanical endurance allows for 15 x 106 switching cycles. Their electrical endurance offers 3 x 105 switching cycles at a resistor load of 1A. Their switching capacity at 30V DC/AC is 1A (continuous) or 2A (peak value).

The reliable RSR1601 card is especially suitable for integration into signal distribution systems like the NOFFZ SDR (Signal Distribution Rack).

Advantages

  • 16 integrated DPDT relays for switching testing signals
  • Controlled via NI DIO card (6514) or HNI bus
  • Low current consumption
  • Switching capacity: at 30V DC/AC: 1A (continuous) / 2A (Peak value)

Conclusion
The SRS1601 is a robust and reliable Euro-card sized signal relay switching card offering 16 integrated DPDT signal relays for switching and distributing testing signals. The 19” rack mountable card is characterized by low current consumption and provides a switching capacity of 1A (continuous) / 2A (Peak value) at 30V DC/AC.
