NOFFZ Technologies has received an order from Bender GmbH & Co. KG-, a leading provider of systems for the safety and intelligence of electrical installations. NOFFZ developed another endof- line tester for charge controllers integrated into wallboxes. The new tester is a replica of the systems delivered in 2023, but includes several modifications and enhancements specifically tailored to the customer’s current requirements.

Testing Multiple Charge Controller Variants
The test system is designed for the end-of-line testing of charge controllers with different functional scopes. This includes variants with residual current detection (RCD), dynamic load management, control pilot interface, integrated safety functions, as well as WLAN/Ethernet connectivity and a 4G modem.
Using the UTP Variant Editor from the NOFFZ UTP Suite software, individual test sequences can be flexibly configured, and various sub-variants can be created easily – a key requirement for efficient testing of complex product families.
Technical Features of the Test System
The system is equipped with an lngun adapter, which accommodates two interchangeable cassettes with spring-loaded pin contact units (pogo pins). This allows different devices under test to be connected quickly and securely, significantly reducing setup times.
Inside, proven NOFFZ components are used, including the NOFFZ SCU and the NOFFZ UTP Suite, which serve as the software platform for data acquisition, test control, and result documentation.
Outlook
Another charge controller application is already in planning. It will be implemented based on the three delivered test systems and will expand the existing test environment with additional functionalities in the future.
