After more than a decade of reliable performance, one of the leading providers of innovative system solutions for mobile living — specializing in parking solutions, signaling systems, fare collection, and energy
management — decided it was time to future-proof its existing test system developed by NOFFZ.
The key challenge: developing a new system that integrates seamlessly into the existing infrastructure. The
goal was to modernize the technology foundation while preserving the established hardware environment
and familiar workflows. The customer needed a new platform that met today’s demands while ensuring
continuity in operation and system integration.
Tailored to the Customer’s Needs
NOFFZ delivered a custom-designed solution: a next-generation test system based on the proven original architecture. This new test platform integrates advanced technologies such as the UTP Suite software, NOFFZ-designed PCBs, and the NOFFZ SCU. A major focus was placed on maintaining all previous functionalities while significantly boosting performance and efficiency. This ensured a smooth transition while introducing state-of-the-art capabilities. As part of the project, the existing test system is also being upgraded with the latest UTP Suite software. Aside from this software update, the previous solution remains unchanged in structure — allowing the customer to continue working with a familiar interface and workflows, while also leveraging the benefits of modern test technology.
Successful Milestone Achieved. The outcome of this project phase has been entirely positive: the new test solution was delivered on time and successfully integrated into the customer’s existing setup. NOFFZ is also upgrading the legacy system with the latest UTP Suite and relocating it to another production site operated by the customer. The project includes a full-service package, including training for staff at the international location. The customer expressed high satisfaction with the project’s structured execution, on-schedule delivery, and the close, collaborative partnership with NOFFZ.

The new test system is already in successful use. In parallel, the original system is being modernized through the planned UTP Suite software upgrade. Final completion of the overall project is scheduled for the end of 2025.
