NOFFZ Technologies proudly announces the concept of its innovative V2X Remote Vehicle Simulator, the ITN 3000 a new member of the IoT Test Node Product Family.
To reach the full potential of autonomous driving, we need to bring multiple technologies together to work like a perfect orchestra. This symphony of technologies will include re-active and pro-active elements to complement each other. While technologies that work in a re-active fashion have always been loud and clear – using cameras, radars and LiDARs –, conversations around pro-active awareness enabled by V2X are significantly quieter. Although, there is agreement in the domain that complete self-driving cannot exist without co-operative awareness. V2X technologies are adapted slowly, because of complex technical challenges, legislation, and compatibility requirements.
Today’s connected world is based on wireless technologies that have always been a challenge in testing, due to high costs and complexity. In rapid development cycles and extremely short times to market engineers started to question traditional test methods as well.
We see product companies turning away from redundantly measuring pre-certified, validated, wireless modems after integration to higher-level products.
Our mission at NOFFZ is to accelerate V2X technology adoption by giving easy-to-use, affordable tools to engineers and scientists that make V2X product development and testing part of the daily routine.
We are sharing our concept for the latest IoT Test Node: the ITN 3000 Remote Vehicle Simulator, an inexpensive, application-level test tool to ensure V2X functionality during hardware-in-the-loop-, EMC-, validation- or production testing.
